The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of two National Football League teams to have fired their head coach before the end of the 2016 National Football League season. Coughlin, 70, served as the Jaguars' coach during their inaugural year in 1995 and he went on to lead the team to the playoffs four times in eight seasons in Jacksonville, where he compiled a 68-60 record.
