Prolific striker Harry Kane expressed his determination to seal the Premier League's Golden Boot award after a four-goal rampage during Tottenham's demolition of dethroned champions Leicester.

The Englishman may at times get overshadowed by the more mercurial talents of Dele Alli, the genius of Christian Eriksen, and the all-around play of Son, but he is undoubtedly a brilliant player in his own right, and he comes up with decisive moments.

"We were talking about last season when we finished so bad".

Mauricio Pochettino insists that he is not concerned about the prospect of a so-called "bigger club" swooping to sign Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane in the future.

'I am on 75 in the league and if there is another season like this then hopefully I can get to the 100.

Kane spoke of his desire to boost his numbers at King Power Stdium and is equally determined to add to his tally on the final day of the season and clinch a second Golden Boot in a row. We spoke a lot to try to change that view and that feeling and finish in the best way. Kane snares his second of the game with a simple header from close range after Wanyama had nodded Alderweireld's hanging cross back into the danger zone. He's one of the best strikers in the world.

The 45-year-old Argentinian said he was not anxious Kane would leave in the close season as Spurs were in a position to keep the players they wanted to keep.

Harry Kane scored four times as Tottenham produced another superb performance to sweep aside Leicester City.

"It is very clear we will keep the players we want to keep", Pochettino said.

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare said he was unsure whether the humbling defeat would affect his chances of staying in the role for next season. So I think this is fantastic.

"Going into the game two behind, I was hoping to get one or two last night and keep myself in the race for Sunday, so to get four and win 6-1, I couldn't have dreamed of that".

He said: " The disappointing thing for me when they scored third didn't see enough desire from my team and it really drained us of any belief. Won the Golden Boot last season with 25 and has hit 26 this term despite missing three months of this campaign with injury.
