On Sunday, West Ham United attacker Andre Ayew got the world discussing what potentially passes for the worst miss in football ever as his side succumbed to a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Manuel Lanzini has been a stand-out performer for the Hammers this campaign and has arguably managed to fill the void left by Dimitri Payet in January.

But the midfielder has quashed any talk of a potential exit from West Ham, saying he feels settled at the club. 'At the beginning it was not great [as I suffered an injury on worldwide duty in pre-season], but then I could achieve a good level.

The West Ham players can claim a night out on John Terry and his Chelsea team-mates after beating Tottenham, James Collins has revealed.

Dimi is a great player. I thought we had a real deserved win, it was a really good football game.

Meanwhile, for fans of Liverpool - who are in search of a top four spot with two games to play and started the game a point ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal - the overwhelming feeling was relief...

"For now, I am thinking of the next game then thinking of having good holidays with the family", he told West Ham's official website. I am very happy here'.

The miss ensured West Ham went in at half-time of the Premier League clash trailing 1-0 after Daniel Sturridge put Liverpool into the lead midway through the first half.

"For a lot of games, we were without more than a few players and sometimes we coped with it and played really good and people said "We don't need anyone" but over the long term, over the season, we need more quality".
