In case you missed it, on Friday, May 12, star of "The Flash", Keiynan Lonsdale, took to Instagram where he shared a personal message regarding his sexuality.

Actor Keiynan Lonsdale, popular for playing Wally West aka Kid Flash on "The Flash", publicly announced that he is bisexual and that he was "bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared".

"I like growing, I like learning, I like who I am and I really like who I'm becoming", he added.

Kaiynan explained that he "spent way too many years hating myself, thinking I was less valuable because I was different. which is just untrue". Although that self-acceptance saved his life, he revealed that he's gotten to a new road block and feel kind of lost.

He ended his post by saying that he hopes that we can all learn someday to embrace the person we are and to stop judging people who are the same as us. "I gotta take the next step & actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting", Lonsdale wrote. I gotta take the next step & actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting.

Keiynan Lonsdale came out in an Instagram post. Kid Flash is seemingly heterosexual and has a girlfriend in the show. "Who knows. Everyone in their own time", he continued.

'Ya know more & more I see so many young people being their best / truest selves, it's fucking inspiring... so what have I been waiting for!?

"Lonsdale's television career started in 2010 when he played the outspoken, opinionated, egotistic" and openly gay dancer Ollie Lloyd in the Australian TV series Dance Academy.

Lonsdale's Wally was introduced to "The Flash" as the estranged drag-racer son of Joe (Jesse L. Martin), and the younger brother of Iris. "Don't forget to give that same love back to yourselves", he wrote. He believes that we're all family and that we should learn to love ourselves and each other. It's natural to feel scared and insecure at times, but that doesn't have to stop you from living an authentic life.

"The Flash" Season 3, episode 22, titled "Infantino Street" airs on Tuesday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
