Easter Egg Hunts in South Niagara Saturday

The Easter & Earth Celebration will be back on Saturday, April 15 when there will be plenty of fun for the entire family. The dairy, located at 6149 S.W. Shattuck Rd.in Portland, will offer two egg hunts for kids ages 3 years to 8 years old.

After the hunt was over the families were invited to have a light lunch of hotdogs and chips then go inside for pictures with the Easter Bunny and join in the cake walk.

The Farmington Civic Center is once again hosting the Underwater Easter Egg on Saturday. Participants are asked to bring their own bags. The first session will start at 1:30 p.m. and is open to all children so children with a range of abilities and their siblings can hunt together.

The Easter Egg hunt is going to be huge with the support of Bridge Church: "A major partner for Easter Egg Course is providing 2,000 eggs", said Mount. The event runs from 10 a.m.to 11:45 a.m. Registration will be taken until the day of the event. Those wanting to attend are supposed to meet at the intersection of Yuma County roads 54 and U at 5:30 a.m., and will be transported to the top of Old Baldy. Come and learn about Jesus and the meaning of Easter.

In Cyrstal Beach, the Downtown Ridgeway BIA is hosting their hunt starting at 12 noon till 2 p.m. A 3:30 p.m. session will be for children who have sensory issues and prefer a hunt in a quiet, calm environment. There will be balloon twister, face painting, crafts, colouring gymnasium activities and a photo booth. The egg hunt and other activities will follow from 10 to 11 a.m.at Town Hall. Candy-filled eggs for the children to find will be hidden by volunteers.
