While Varun Dhawan is all set for his 3rd - 100 crore film with Badrinath Ki Dulhania after Dilwale (148 crores) and ABCD 2 (107 crores). In fact, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has also crossed the lifetime collections of Alia Bhatt's 2016 releases Dear Zindagi and Udta Punjab.

The film managed to attract a decent footfall on its opening day, amounting to a collection of Rs 12 crore-plus across India, as reported by The Indian Express. The film has also turned out to be the highest second weekend of 2017. First SUPER HIT of 2017... Till now, the cinema has grossed Rs 19 crore collection in the global market.
According to Box Office India, the film has taken its total revenue to Rs 88.77 crore by adding Rs 17 crore to its pile of earnings over the second weekend. "So, if we look at the landing cost, one-fourth of it would have been recovered by selling satellite rights for Rs 10-15 crore plus the money they would have recovered by selling music rights, rest would be recovered by the business they will do at the box office", film distributor Akshaye Rathi told indianexpress.com. The movie has totalled a worldwide business of Rs 135.12 crore.
