It looks like the reimagining of Assassin's Creed by Ubisoft, now slated for a launch next year, is going to be launching on the Nintendo Switch, too.
The next Assassin's Creed installment might very well release on the Nintendo Switch simultaneously with the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
At least that's one of the most recent Nintendo Switch rumors that has surfaced online following a video from Youtuber "OBE1plays".
"As far as I know Ubi want the next AC to hit Switch same date as other consoles yep", Dale said recently in a tweet. Plus, Ubisoft were at the forefront of supporting the Wii U too, so seeing them be enthusiastic about Switch support isn't much of a surprise, particularly given how openly supportive of Nintendo the publisher has been.
Just this Wednesday, LetsPlayVideoGames.com editor-in-chief Laura Kate Dale was asked by a fan if she has information on whether or not there is really an "Assassin's Creed 2017" game for Nintendo's hybrid console.
If this does push through, then this would be the follow-up game to last year's Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It would be also good to see if Ubisoft will make the most out of the Nintendo Switch's unique features-perhaps it could add to the reboot experience of the game.
