"The Undertaker has always been a cornerstone of Team Blue, and his emergence on this special episode of SmackDown Live is undoubtedly linked to The Phenom's storied history with the brand", WWE said in a statement Thursday announcing his return.
The event starts at 7:15 p.m. November 15 at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre Township. It looks unlikely that he would appear at the Survivor Series in a competitive capacity though. This will the Deadman's first appearance at the venue in a decade. What is certain is that he will not be featured on the card of the pay-per-view shows in the WWE Survivor Series, which will happen five days later.
The 51-year-old hasn't been seen in the WWE since Wrestlemania 32 in April where he defeated Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match. If Undertaker lost, he was not going to compete at the Wrestlemania again - a PPV where he's had an impeccable 23-1 record and enjoyed a 21-0 streak which was broken by Brock Lesnar.
